Jacinta has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 2001. She has a Diploma of Fitness and a Diploma of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her expertise spans a range of movement styles and disciplines including Pilates (Matwork and Reformer), Hot Yoga, Barre Attack as well as aqua, boxing, RPM, Body Pump, Body Balance and Senior Strength.

Jacinta’s health and fitness career began in 2001 when she was recruited by a local PT studio. She completed her training and began working with a range of clients in both a one-on-one and group environment.

A keen runner, cyclist and gym-goer, Jacinta always loved high-intensity workouts but came to realise she was overtraining, leading to a constant state of exhaustion. Jacinta began to explore other ways to stay active that reduced the strain on her body without sacrificing the feeling of a great workout.

She discovered Pilates, Yoga and Barre Attack, and has been helping her clients learn an important lesson ever since: you don’t have to run yourself ragged to achieve the same outcome. High-impact and high-intensity don’t always mean highly-effective. A varied, challenging and enjoyable exercise routine is the most sustainable way to reach your fitness goals, whatever they may be.

Jacinta’s approach is not driven by results, unless the metric is overall wellbeing. The short-term diets and rapid weight loss programs that are rampant in the industry perpetuate an unrealistic idea of what health and wellness look like. Jacinta’s approach is simple - move, nourish and listen to your body.
